My experience at Northern Colorado Periodontics was absolutely outstanding. The staff was friendly and courteous, and I was treated with dignity, respect, and valued as a patient. Dr Shumaker is the Best! His professionalism, competence and skill transformed my life after a traumatic injury to my teeth and supporting structure of my mouth. His amazing work definitely is a reason to smile again!

Dr. Shumaker treated me during an emergency when my regular periodontist was out of town. He made a decision to make my snapped off crown area comfortable instead of an extraction and bone graft. He did that because he thought that my periodontist might be able to place an implant on the same day as the extraction. That could reduce the number of healing months so that I could get my crown earlier. He made a great decision for my care.

Dr. Shumaker has overseen my dental care for both an implant and a recent graft procedure. I believe he is the best in NOCO. His skill and attention to detail make it easy for the patient. After the anesthetic wore off from the graft operation, I experienced absolutely no pain. Signs of superior work done by a skilled surgeon. How lucky we are to have access to such a person!
