I wasn’t told my appointment would run more than 90 minutes.
I wish I was told my 9:30 AM appointment would not be completed until after 11 AM. The duration of the surgery made me anxious about my scheduled meeting in Manhattan at 1 PM. I would have appreciated a warning that an hour and a half was to be expected.

I feared the worst having never been to a periodontist for a gum issue. Dr. Barrese could not have been nicer, or more reassuring. The office is really nice, and they have all the high tech digital imaging gear that enables him to share what he sees on a screen with the patient. Dr Barrese did not want to rush into suggesting a procedure on my gum, but instead suggested some measures and scheduled a future appointment to monitor my situation.
