I have been a patient with Dr. Mays for quite a few years now. The hygentist have always been very thorough and friendly. They explain every step of the way so you feel comfortable in your exam. I would recommend Dr. Mays and her staff to anyone who need a dentist.
Had a cavity filled and a crown applied. They made every effort to see that I was comfortable and they made the whole process painless. Very efficient these folks.
This was my initial visit to your practice. Exposure to Mays' staff was limited to: Theresa in making an appointment and as the Receptionist when arriving at your office. Serena Herzner conducted a thorough examination with copious notes on the individual health, condition and numerical benchmark for both the teeth and gums(providing an on-going commentary as to what was being done, why and preliminary finding). Amy was wonderful to work with, she guided the team to ensure all of her explorations were recorded, she shared insights and background with me on what she was doing and she was sensitive to my TMJ tenderness and restrictions. My dental hygienist was wonderful. Her name was Aimee. She was great. My teeth were sensitive and she made me feel very comfortable and I greatly appreciated that. I was nervous about the visit and she was wonderful. Thank you.
As always my visit with Amie was a pleasant experience despite the fact that I need further care. But I anticipate a quick and thorough "fix" to my problem.
I always enjoy visiting for appointments, which says a lot from a dentaphobe (have I just coined a new word?maybe we should invent a new syndrome with it's own acronym!). I was raised with a dentist who used one of those slow cable-driven drills and didn't use novacane. Until coming to your office many years ago (I think even before Serena began her career there), just thinking about going to a dentist sent me into full-blown PTSD! This practice is the best I have ever seen. It starts with the courteous and caring front office staff and goes all the way to the superb and superior professionals who perform the services. I have been a patient since 1978 and will not go anywhere else! They go way beyond your expectations to make the experience as painless and comfortable as possible. I don't have any idea how they could get better but they always do. Dr. Mays and her staff are simply the best.
