Bids were solicited from 4 other companies with ?leaf guard? publicity. This company was selected not only because of price but because they had heating coils for ice protection and a superior method of handling water flow into the gutter. Installation of downs spouts and gutters with covers to keep out leaves and, in sections, covers with heating coils glued to the underside of the gutter to stop ice build-up.

I'm answering on behalf of my Mother, who is the homeowner in Brunswick, Ohio. Her comments: "I have to say it has been a very disappointing and frustrating experience. After two years the job is still not completed to my satisfaction, and there is no interest or concern to take care of an existing problem. I could not and would not recommend k guard to anyone. It was a horrible experience. I liked that they put up the gutters. I did not like that I had to call them back a number of times. At one point the gutters were making noise whenever it rained. I could hear the rain hitting the gutter and I couldn't sleep. It was so loud. They replaced that gutter down spout. Then I discovered that I paid for a 6 inch gutter, but they put on a 4 inch gutter. I discovered that by accident that they did not put on the gutter that I paid for around the whole house. They are very courteous took time to explain, the gentleman was very helpful. The price was a little high had other quotes that were a little more reasonable but the price was decent for the extra work I wanted done. They gave an estimate.

I was not real happy with their efforts. They do a very good job once they do it. However, they have to be watched as to whether they are meeting all of the qualifications of what their contract is for. In fact, I called them back for maybe $100 or so dollars of extra work, not because I was real happy, but only for the fact that they knew what they were doing. I'm not 100% happy but the product is working. The issue we had was with the installation not with the product the products is good. I would tell others to just ake sure the estimator talks to the installers before you agree to the installation. They replaced the gutters.

Sales person on time, professional until sale made. Failed at first to leave space shingles had to complain to get them. Would not call back lost another sale able to terrible services and lack of follow-up. A new roof. Including (2) roof take off.

Ever since they've put the gutters and leaf-guards up, we've had issues. Large ice dams keep forming on our roof, and it's very unsafe. The salesman and General Manager called me back and keep making excuses. They have sent the salesman a few times, but they won't send a technician out. They've said it was the pitch of the roof, our insulation, a heat cable we had installed by another contractor (who had told us that the gutters themselves weren't hung right).
