I had a gum graft done twice and the staff were professional and friendly but I think they could improve in the home care instructions area. For instance, I was never told on either occasion to not look at the graft but read this on line from other patients . It would be helpful if they explained the stages of how gross things will look and to expect this as it is normal. The wait time was fifteen minutes but once I got in, things went quickly and Dr. Sakamoto came immediately after Amy was finished with me. I do appreciate efficiency.

Wait time was almost one hour in the reception area. I was pleased with the care in the examining room with the nurse and doctor. I was again waiting for the desk person to complete her questions about my insurance. I am a return client for Dr. Sakamoto.

I had a very good appointment. Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable. The only disappointing thing about the visit was that I had to fill out the forms again after I had already done them on line.

I have been and continue to be a patient for over 20 years. Dr Sakamoto has an excellent staff. He has diversity in his patients but none in staff. No African American or male associates. Your staff should be a reflection of the community you serve. I have much respect for the doctor and his staff, but it lacks diversity.

June 20, 2018 Respectfully, my personal experience with Dr. Sakamoto, and his Staff were second to none! They treated me like I was "royalty." Most recently Dr. Sakamoto's Dental Hygienist, "Lynn," performed one of the very best and long over-due teeth cleanings that I have ever had in my 60+ years. Her skill's, along with her professionalism were excellent. She also kept me informed in what she was doing, especially numbing an area where she had to go deep under the gum to clean! I will not be coming back and I will letting other people know that they should not use this provider. I have never had such a bad experience. When I had my gum surgery done the first time pictures were taken at the Dublin location because the Dr could not make it. He was supposed to look at these pictures and get back with me... It took a month and several phone calls. I then had to have the same surgery done again because the graft fell down. The second did the same thing and I have not really gotten an explanation.
