Dr Sakamoto and his staff are the absolute best! The doctors quick wit and comical conversation keeps your mind off the procedure. If he wasn’t the best periodontist out there he would be a darn good comedian. I had a dental implant and was entertained through the whole procedure.

My wait time was almost an hour and then there was confusion on what my appointment was for.. I was under the impression I was there for a cleaning but the tech or person who came in asked me what the reason for my appointment was. He was confused. Several people came in & out while I sat for quite awhile and then saw Dr Sakamoto for a few minutes I arrived at 2:50 and did not leave until 4:25 after just spending a few minutes with the doctor. Very disappointed .

A little longer wait than I would prefer but the procedure went very smoothly with no nasty post procedure problems. Dr. Sakamoto and has staff, were as usual, cordial and explained everything.

LANAP surgery went fine, and I appreciated the special care and attention about pain management and extra shots to make sure the surgery went as smooth as possible. Actually getting all the shots and prep took up almost half the time of the scheduled surgery. What I did not appreciate, were the interruptions while Dr. Sakamoto was performing the laser surgery to ask about other clients and requests from other doctors/dentists. I had a gum graft done twice and the staff were professional and friendly but I think they could improve in the home care instructions area. For instance, I was never told on either occasion to not look at the graft but read this on line from other patients . It would be helpful if they explained the stages of how gross things will look and to expect this as it is normal. The wait time was fifteen minutes but once I got in, things went quickly and Dr. Sakamoto came immediately after Amy was finished with me. I do appreciate efficiency.
