Arrived approximately 9;15, Finished 4;30. Both workers discussed the overall project with me, Answering my questions and Took my opinions into consideration. Gutter replacement.

The guy who came to give me an estimate was a bit creepy. He just made me uncomfortable. The installers were great. Installed K-guard gutters to front of house.

Several years back I purchased a K-Gard Gutter system from a another company ... which has since stopped installing/servicing K-Gard. In Spring a tree limb came down, denting the cover of one of the gutters. In June I had this firm come out to give me an estimate to replace the cover. They said there was a $500.00 minimum for ANY SERVICE. The salesman was very personable. I did not feel high pressure. That being said, when I heard the radio advertisement for the gutters being $13.95 per foot installed for my 95 foot of gutters, I compared it to the estimates I received for regular gutters being installed, apx $450, and thought perhaps I could afford the difference. They did what they came here to do. The quote was $800. It sounded awful high. But I didn’t even say anything; I just said okay and that was it. I wasn’t really going to call them because it was way too high. My experience with them wasn’t bad at all. With regard to responsiveness, they were very good. The guy showed up when he was supposed to. With regard to professionalism, he was pretty good. I just didn’t like the price. K-Guard installed their gutters back in 2002 which went well and very professional. But now they have a new manager which he is very rude and unprofessional when I talk to him last year about the problem I was having with one of my gutter on the south side of the house. He told me the company (Fairweather Roofing) that installed my gutters went out of business in the year of 2003 which he took over. I think he should still honor me since it is still k-Guard. Overall, the project went very smoothly. They came out when they said they would and did the work as proposed. My only problem related to financing. They offered one year same as cash, which I accepted. However, the salesperson did not make it clear that you had to make monthly payments during that first year (although no interest was charged). this caused a number of frustrating calls with their finance company (Wells Fargo).
