I was wondering if seeing a dentist was safe at this time. I found everything was as I would want it and every precaution I could think of was in place. Masks and face shields were worn by staff and I only was close to the hygienist and the dentist when they were working on my teeth. The waiting room was my car and I scheduled my next visit with my mask on with the masked receptionist from a safe distance according to current standards. My family and I have been with Dr. Rice since 1999. She has always treated my kids like they are part of her family. She is an exceptionally talented dentist and has even taught dentistry at the University of Michigan and Washtenaw Community College! So, she's super smart yet remains a down-to-earth people person. The new Covid-19 protection protocol put in place were impressive. I felt very comfortable when entering the office for my cleaning. I appreciate the extra effort very much and it was so good to see Dr. Rice and everyone even if I did miss seeing their smiles.
