Travis H****** with Music City Roofers has been a DREAM to work with for my 88 yr old dad's house. Travis has stayed in contact with me, and kept me informed. He made my dad very comfortable with him. Today, the roofers were respectful, worked hard, efficiently and fast. They were very respectful of my dad and he couldn't possibly be happier with the job preformed, the look, and the cleanup. Feazel cut up boards and nailed into existing wood decking (I have pictures). The contract states replace decking as needed. I feel I was deceived by not telling me how they were going to install decking. I assumed the decking would be replace with full sheets as that is how I have seen a number of roofs completed in my subdivision. As an elderly woman they have bullied me for the entire insurance check even though they paid no attention to the Scope of Work they requested that listed lines for fascia to be replaced. I had my roof replaced in October 2023 and also had all of the decking replaced. The decking was not installed properly and doesn't meet codes. They have lied to me over and over again stating that codes doesn't require clips. I had to call codes myself to find out not only that the clips are require but they also never got a building permit and when you replace an entire roof deck a permit is also required. We had MCR come out last year and replace our roof on primary home. After work was complete, the gutters were all completely bent, the gutter guards were not put back in place properly, and no sweep of roofing nails and debris and left satellite dish literally hanging by wires off the side of the house when they were 'complete'. They left the extra materials in our yard for a month after numerous calls for them to have a supervisor come out and finish the final inspection. I had Music City Roofers come out months ago to do an inspection. Ryan J****** was very enthusiastic about getting my roof replaced and getting my insurance company to pay for it. The next step was having my insurance company out while Ryan was here to have my insurance company asses the damages. Ryan informed me that he will remove a shingle and send it off for testing. If I could leave no stars, I would! We wanted to get some work done on our house including a few different items such as gutter guards, trim and flashing replaced, and soffit repairs. Most items that we wanted repaired were done incorrectly the first time and needed to be done again or were missed completely after 5 weeks of work. Not to mention, we were quoted that all of the repairs were going to take about a week to complete. One star customer service. Neighbor's tall skinny home under MCR contract. My adjacent 1-story home/property collateral damage. I asked that the crew to mitigate raining down upon me nails, tar paper and shingle fragments from up high. MCR's on-site project manager at **** ****** ** on April 24-25, 2023 was profoundly arrogant and argumentative, bluntly told me that if the crew was more careful, they would have to work slower, it would take longer to complete the job, and this would be unacceptable. Please read my ***********review to see pictures of water damage referenced. MCR did not cover my roof as they were doing a roof replacement. Do not mistaken this as the roof was partially covered, or the cover had failed to protect the roof. They didn't use a cover, in heavy rain conditions, AT ALL. Not sure why they made the decision to not use any covering whatsoever, but they made their choice. These images were taken as the heavy rain was pouring, so the damage was much worse.
