Get directionsToday, I called garbage disposal problem. Service fee was $78. He proposal to replace for $381(replacement + service fee). That time, I didn't decide that. After 4 hour, I request to replace new one. They said I have to pay service fee $78. So I didn't do it. I don't understand why I have to pay service fee twice. I think I have to return service fee $78 and I have to pay $381. And Service fee $78 is more expensive than others.
One of the worst companies I had the displeasure of communicating. All they care about is money. They have no professionalism, no people skills. And by the sound of my house being destroyed they have no job skills either. Use a better company.
Capps Plumbing was at my home doing some repairs for my condo association. While they were here, I asked about getting a new toilet since mine was over 20 years old. They were able to install a new toilet that day, July 9, 2020. On September 25, 2020, my new toilet clogged. I called Capps and was told if it's a clog they don't fix it for free, despite it being a brand-new toilet. I called another company to unclog the toilet. On October 26, 2020, the toilet clogged again and I had to have it augured again by another com... read more
I had used Capps Plumbing replacing my water heater before but their business practice is just a con. They keep using the worst quality Bradford White water heater that breaks down just a few years. If you are lucky to replace the tank before the six years warranty. However, Capps will still charge you for almost a thousand dollars for labor and another two hundred for service call. The $25 coupon that they gave you are not valid for weekend and holiday. Stay away from them.
Capps plumbing and sewer employees try to overcharge for any service of theirs. They are very unprofessional. They wanted to charge $160 to relight my water that was recently purchased by them that I got over changed for. I would not recommend this service ever
My family had a terrible experience with this plumbing company--I highly recommend you search for a different company. Based on their actions, they prioritize their bottom line over client satisfaction/retention and have no interest in doing right by their customers. Fees are also exorbitant compared to market rates. My parents had a plumbing technician called out to replace the stems on a broken faucet. This work was quoted at several hundreds of dollars, which we were fine with despite it being higher than expected. Inste... read more
The underground pipe connected from the sump pump to the village main pipe is clogged. Capps sent a technician and suggested to take a camera of the pipe. He spent 10 min and failed to get the cable in. I paid $370 and got nothing solved.
I am writing this on behalf of my parents, as they do not want to write a bad review despite the bad service they received. I was in the house when they came in so I was able to witness everything. My parents regret not looking up their reviews before calling them. They told multiple lies to my mother and trapped her into buying a valve for $130. Our hot water tank broke, so they made a call to Capps to come by the morning of 12/31. 1. My mother requested for the $95 estimate fee to be waived since she was going to use th... read more
The worst company I've ever dealt with. A total ripoff, horrible customer service, price gauging. Date of service was 9/17/19, over a month ago. I had a leaking faucet in one bathroom and a broken handle in the other (where the handle controlling going from water to shower had a tiny part broken in it so wouldn't work). Capps service person comes in, recommends to fix the faucet, but not just fix - replace it because the old one is old. For a new faucet which cost below $100 (I checked later online) and 30 mins of work he ... read more
