The physical replacement took 20-24 hours over three days with a half day of stoppage time for rain. The crew worked together well, and were cheerful and respectful of us and our home. I was very pleased with how well they protected the existing gutters and plantings round the house as they removed all the old roof materials. They listened to my concerns and took extra care when replacing the flashing to groove and caulk into the mortar to prevent water running down the brickwork. Chris had watched the Shanco team install a new roof across the street from us and had been impressed with the workmanship and speed of that team.
